L'Oréal came out this year with sixteen gorgeous shades of lipsticks in their Caresse line and I would gladly pit them against my absolute favorite Revlon Lip butters. I was skeptical to try these because I felt like I was cheating on my lip butters but in all honesty, L'Oréal balms didn't win me over. The problem with the Colour Riche balms was that they were barely pigmented. I would have to layer it on thick like margarine on my toast for a teeny tiny bit of color. However, this Caresse line L'Oréal has completely left me smitten just like Ryan Gosling.
The texture of L'Oréal Caresse lipstick is light, buttery, hydrating and it is nicely pigmented. The violet chiffon is a gorgeous plummy purple that will suit any skin-tone especially the yellow-gold skin-colored beauties. This formula is perfect for summer and winter because it is airy and glossy without the icky goopiness and it is jam-packed with moisture so your lips are left supple as it wear off during those cold frigid days.
